Let's get it off our chests

I just went to a page on the Ms. Magazine website and signed a petition declaring that I'd had an abortion.

It's part of a campaign promote more honest dialogue on the subject.

Oh goody for me

I did something virtuous today.

I ordered a replacement saw blade for my hand saw instead of buying a new one.

The blade cost about $20, and the entire saw cost about $2 more. The shipping charges were $8.

Americans are never going to turn away from wastefulness until we make it more economical to repair something than to replace it.

Anyway, I've done my part today.
