There are blue tulips. I did not know that.

I've dreamed of having my own tulips, low-growing, blue, star-shaped with white centers, that only grow in difficult soil.

Well, I know what I'll be doing this fall.

Last Saturday I met a vendor at the farmer's market who expressed his wish to own every species of tulip. I told him that was a worthy goal.
